There is So Little Time

There is so little time in Adult Life (tm). I am working the early shift this week so I get some more afternoon in exchange for my nights. Perhaps, if I like it, I could be the morning guy permanently. All depends on how I feel about it.

The Smartphone Wins

This time, it wasn't necessarily doctrinal victory. I'm kind of ticked-off about my Kyocera. The battery failed even though it was brand new. I suppose the nice thing is that I can replace it with a screwdriver. But I still have to wait until they can send it back to me. :(. So for now I'm going to practice self control in a variety of ways.

• I will not go on Reddit (accursed be that website) on my phone.
• I will set the app timer for Youtube.
• I will audit my notifications and improve their filtering.
• I will disable notifications for emails (if someone's emailing me, it can wait until I get back home to the computer). I've done so already for my various non-business accounts.

Perhaps this method can be an excerise in the virtue of moderation.
